Other than the leading boy, there's really nothing to complain about here. The story is fine, the direction is fine, Cate Blanchett does a bizarre but intriguing Hepburn. It misses being epic, it misses being compelling by a Lot, it misses having depth, heck, it even misses having emotion. But somehow, it's still a decent movie. Certainly not a great one. I hope it does Not get an Best Picture nod, though it probably will.

MOVIE REVIEW - Aviator, The (2004)
Other than the leading boy, there's really nothing to complain about here. The story is fine, the direction is fine, Cate Blanchett does a bizarre but intriguing Hepburn. It misses being epic, it misses being compelling by a Lot, it misses having depth, heck, it even misses having emotion. But somehow, it's still a decent movie. Certainly not a great one. I hope it does Not get an Best Picture nod, though it probably will.
